As much as we would like to do so, we don't have the time to play with everyone who writes to us wanting to improve at chess. If you're looking for an online opponent, see the links 'crossboard servers' and 'email servers' to the right under Suggested Reading. They will give you a list of places to play online. We're members of many of these services. Perhaps we will cross swords some day.
We also encourage you to join the About Chess Forum where other forum members will be happy to answer your questions and help you improve. Your Chess Guide participates regularly.
