While Andreikin hasn’t received as much attention as many of the other young grandmasters of his generation, he has certainly earned his fair share of fans thanks to his aggressive and creative playing style that often sees him in sharp, interesting positions. Like many top grandmasters of the last decade, he is known for playing a variety of opening systems. He is also known as a particularly good blitz player.

  • Earned Grandmaster title in 2007
  • Won the 2010 World Junior Chess Championship
  • Won the 2012 Russian Chess Championship
