First answer : it doesn't matter what we think here at About Chess. When you play an opening, you have to be comfortable playing it, not us. We have our own opening preferences and we're only interested in proving their merit when we have to play a game against you.
Second answer : some great masters have played the systems you mention. Some have played one system or the other; some have played both. If the systems were good enough for them, then they're good enough for the rest of us.
