In Memorizing Chess Openings, we posted an email message received from a correspondent. 'I have written a web page about how to memorize opening moves by using a "trick": mnemonics.' • The page is about memorizing the names of openings rather than their moves, but it provoked a good discussion. i use the the dark and light areas of the moon to memorize the opennings and various other combinations. the best site for lunar images are at lpod.org.
