This month, the focus was on adding historical content to the site, which means you'll be seeing more profiles of players and events from chess' rich past. Here's a rundown of what's new on About Chess this month:
- New Player Profiles: I added profiles of a few famous non-champions of days past, including Adolf Anderssen, Johannes Zukertort, Mikhail Chigorin, and Reuben Fine.
- Historic Chess Events: Check out coverage of two of the more important chess tournaments ever held: London 1851 and the 1948 World Chess Championship.
- Other New Articles: In response to a conversation I had with a young chess player, I added an article on turning draws into wins. There's also a new article answering the question of who the highest-rated chess player of all time is -- a question that may soon have a different answer!
As always, let me know if there's something special you'd like to see on the site next month!
