In FIDE World Cup 2007, we started a thread to track the progress of the 128 players at the FIDE World Cup, Khanty-Mansiysk, Russia, November-December 2007. The winner goes on to a challenge match against former World Champion Veselin Topalov and a shot at the World Championship in 2009.
