The king of games is chess and the king of online video sites is YouTube. A search on its video results for 'chess' currently returns 'about 3880 results', although not all of these are really about chess. Of the four different sorts available on the results -- relevance, date added, view count, and rating -- relevance lives up to its name: Chess Club, the top ranked clip, is about as relevant to chess as anything we've seen ('How much can you know about yourself if you've never been checked?').

After YouTube, Google Video runs a distant second. Although it currently returns 'about 4518' results for chess, 'about 3908' are for chess site:youtube.com, and 'about 612' are for its own chess site:video.google.com. On top of the four sorts offered by YouTube, it can sort on video title. As you would expect from Google, the service does a good job of searching; it can also search on duration: Short (<4 min), Medium (4-20 min), and Long (>20 min). The first of the 'about 109' long videos listed is The History of Computer Chess: An AI Perspective, which lasts 2 hours 6 minutes.
